about us
Aron, Owner and Mason at Cutting Edge Brick and Stone Masonry has over 20 years of experience in the masonry industry. He spent the last 13 years of his career as a Journeyman Bricklayer in the Local 1 Bricklayer and Allied Craftworkers Union where he worked on several large scale projects including: The Amazon Building, Sound Transit, Bellevue Square Mall, Lincoln Square, The Shops at The Bravern, UW Stadium, Tahoma National Cemetery and Oculus; just to name a few. He won awards for both Best Craftsman and 2nd Place finish in the union Bricklayer 500 competition. While he had much success working commercially, his real passion for masonry lies in residential homes where he has more flexibility to be creative and use his skilled craft to create and build custom masonry projects. Cultured stone is a man-made product. It's manufactured by pouring concrete into molds. By using different mold shapes and colors of concrete, cultured stone can be made to look like any type of natural stone.
